Lettings Administrator Chelmsford/Hybrid

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Lettings Administrator to join our clients busy Central Administration Team working 4 or 5 full days a week.

The successful candidate will provide vital support to their extensive lettings department. Although primarily working on Tenancy Renewals there will also be the opportunity to support other internal teams as and when the requirement to do so arises.

Once fully trained this will be a hybrid role, working between their head office in Chelmsford, and home.

Salary package:

  • Full-time basic salary up to *£25,000 pa plus bonuses depending on relevant previous industry experience.

  • Realistic OTE *£25,000 - £27,000 pa

Hours of work 5 or 4 full days per week, 8.30am to 5.30pm (no weekends).

*Salary adjusted on a pro-rata basis if fulfilled 4 full days rather than 5 days.

Duties of the role will include (but not limited to):

  • Preparing paperwork linked to tenancy renewals.

  • Liaising with internal branches to request specific information linked to tenancy renewals and processing accordingly.

  • Maintaining up-to-date property records on our internal system

  • Processing renewal data between Microsoft Excel and our own internal software system

  • Assist with preparing Tenancy Notices

  • Using internal software and DocuSign, to process landlord/ tenant renewal related paperwork.

Requirements

  • Current or previous experience within Residential Lettings

  • Well organised, with the ability to prioritise workloads.

  • A proactive ‘can do’ attitude and approach.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally.

  • Outgoing, personable, and enthusiastic

  • Ability to work independently whilst also being happy to be a team player.

  • Diligent with a strong attention to detail.

  • IT proficient, familiar with MS Office packages and able to grasp ‘cutting edge’ technology quickly.
